Johnny Foreigner test pressing 2 x 12″ up for charity grabs

It’s been a spledid summer, and thanks to all you handsome lot we were able to press that awesome Johnny Foreigner vs Everything record on luscious double 12″ vinyl. Not only awesome cos it meant that such a cracking thing was bought into being, but also because it allowed JoFo and us to help out one of our favourite charities.

Soooooo, we’ve hit up eBay to put up for sale a double 12″ test pressing (one of only 5 ever), and you can have a bid on it here. It only has a couple of days left and it’s kinda shot up to £41 already, which is ace – but if you’re feeling flush this month, go for it :-) This is the first JoFo record ever comitted to wax, so if you’re a fan this is a piece of pretty important band history.

And the proceeds well… 100% of this auction money will be donated to AfriKids, an awesome award-winning charity that does amazing work in northern Ghana. They’re a small organisation punching well above their weight and help over 100,000 people each year, which is good of them.

They run some incredible projects that make a massive difference to children, families and communities who need it most. You can find out more about them at www.afrikids.org or follow them on Twitter @AfriKids – but know they’re a rad bunch!
